Slazenger has launched its 2013 cricket range, with the new products hitting the shelves from November, with the full range available from January 2013.
The range features the continuation of the V series bats, as well as a brand new retro collection of bats, pads, gloves and luggage.
The sports brand also launched two new bat technologies: The revolutionary edge technology TAS inserts and the patented HEX handle.
The retro Pro Tour range is designed to be the most premium product collection available globally by taking a step back in time to capture the essence of the brand from three decades ago.
Amongst the bats within the Pro Tour range will be the historic V12 bat, which is set for a re-launch. The bat was used by legends such as Sir Viv Richards, Sir Gary Sobers, Geoffrey Boycott and Sachin Tendulkar.
Hand crafted from the finest English willow, only 200 of the limited edition bats will be created in 2013.
Sunny Singh, head of sports marketing at Slazenger commented: ‘Our drive to constantly create standout equipment has proudly allowed us to draw on our glorious past for inspiration and combine it with our groundbreaking technology of the present, to create a stylish, retro range of the highest quality.’
‘The anticipation of both the TAS and Hex technology is huge, the investment in both will be plain for all to see. I’m sure that the latest V series edition as with the Pro Tour range will be a big hit.’
