Slazenger Signs Up Eoin Morgan
Sports brand Slazenger has signed a sponsorship deal with Middlesex and England batsman Eoin Morgan.
Morgan is currently part of the England squad that has done so well to retain the Ashes and has been endorsing Slazenger’s V360 bat, part of the brand’s 2011 cricket range.
Morgan was part of England’s ICC World Twenty20 winning team in the Caribbean early last year and has figured in both Test and One Day squads since.
His reputation as a one-day batsman got a huge boost as he hit an unbeaten century that saw England to victory in the first ODI against Australia in June 2010 – and was later made man of the series.
Slazenger also has deals with Jacques Kallis, Matt Prior and Michael Clarke, as well as Paul Collingwood, who has announced that he will be retiring from Test cricket.
