Super League Triathlon (SLT) has announced swim equipment brand FORM as the official swim goggles partner of its five-event Championship Series, which kicked off in London on Sunday 4th September.

FORM will also present the Swim Leaderboard Award, which recognises the fastest swimmers in each race and hands a cash bonus to the winner, and also become an official partner of the 2022 2XU Malibu Triathlon.

Michael D’hulst, Super League Triathlon CEO and Co-Founder, said, “Super League Triathlon and FORM are both innovators in their field and are helping to deliver greater performances and athletic excellence through their work. It is exciting to be working with such a forward-thinking partner, especially as we prepare for our biggest ever global Championship Series, which will set a new bar for triathlon.”


The University of Essex and Birmingham City University have partnered with England Football Learning, to offer support for women’s and girls’ football coaches at specialist Women’s High Performance Football Centres across the country.

The centres provide an educational and community-based hub to recruit, develop and deploy coaches and the wider workforce to lead and inspire player development within the women’s and girls’ game.

FA Women’s Pathway Coach Developer Lead, Abbie Sadler commented, “It’s brilliant to add two new partners to our Women’s High Performance Football Centres offering at universities. The opportunities the programme creates will be invaluable to coaches and the wider workforce wanting to take their next steps in women’s football.

“We are also thrilled to have also extended our partnership with all the universities we work with for another two years and cannot wait to continue the great work in the women’s and girls’ game.”


English Football League Championship football club Swansea City has announced that it will sponsor The Child of Wales Awards which will take place in Cardiff in March 2023.

The awards were created to recognise the achievements of children and young people who face hardships and challenges across Wales, while also raising money for the charities that support them.

Swansea City Chief Executive Julian Winter said, “We are delighted to sponsor the Community Champion award at next year’s Child of Wales Awards.

“Our club is very much about supporting and empowering our community, and it’s always inspiring to see the next generation of young people and children leading the way.”


Sports, media, and entertainment specialist law firm Onside Law has announced that James Tobias has been appointed Partner with effect.

James, who joined the firm in 2019 specialises in advising clients at the intersect of sports, media and technology. According to a LinkedIn post by Onside Law claim he ‘has been instrumental is growing the firm’s media and entertainment practice since joining.’


LV= Insurance, the official domestic test and county cricket partner of the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), has launched a grant to drive diversity in the cricket media by giving a young person the opportunity to cover the 2023 Test Summer as a cricket journalist.

The Black Collective of Media in Sport (BCOMS) will identify candidates for a fully-paid, five-month internship with LV= with their brief to cover press conferences, matches and events taking place during the 2023 domestic cricket season.

The individual will be working with journalists from The Cricket Writers’ Club (CWC) – a partner of LV= Insurance – across the 2023 summer and get the chance to shadow members of the national cricket media at matches including the Ashes and within newsrooms, as well as co-writing match reports and news stories.
