Soapbox London Revealed As Official PR Agency Of Sport Industry Awards 2021
Specialist PR and social media agency SoapBox London have been revealed as PR support to the Sport Industry Awards 2021, the 20th anniversary of the industry’s biggest night of the year. The agency is tasked with working with Sport Industry Group’s in-house team to secure widespread media coverage and onsite media management.
The relationship between the Sport Industry Awards and SoapBox was solidified in February 2020 however due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent virtual delivery of the 2020 Awards no official announcement was made. The partnership has continued since then and has been building to the 2021 event.
Founded in September 2015 by publicists Andy Bell and Rowan Wilkinson, Soapbox London provides creative and proactive media, social media management and content production for elite sporting talent, helping to build long term careers outside of sport, grow profile and publicise large scale events, as well as activate brand endorsements.
On the appointment Alex Coulson, Sport Industry Group Managing Director said: “The Sport Industry Awards are the industry’s biggest night of the year, and we’re pleased to be welcoming Soapbox on board to support us on media and PR.

The Sport Industry Awards joins an impressive list of elite sporting talent and brands represented by SoapBox London. It was also announced in October 2020 the launch of sister company SBX Studios, a full digital content production company that has already completed work for DAZN, Under Armour, Hugo Boss, Lucozade and is in development with a number of broadcasters and OTT platforms.
