Sony Ericsson has utilised its sponsorship of the Women’s Tennis Association by launching a new entertainment show called Xperia Hot Shots.??
The show, streamed online and to mobile handsets, follows the lives of six WTA aspiring stars as they look to build their profile both on and off the court and gain a support deal with WTA sponsor Sony Ericsson.??
Sony Ericsson will help the players by giving them access to the worlds of music, film, gaming and fashion, allowing them to grow their online fan base as they look to progress in their tennis career.??
The premise of the show is a fully interactive programme, streamed on YouTube that will see the girls using their Sony Ericsson Xperia handsets to film their own content, share it and interact with their fans on Facebook and other social networks.??
To mark the launch of the show Maria Sharapova has worked with Melbourne street artist, Dvate, to develop the logo and ‘tag’ a specially created street art mural that has been shown for the first time in Melbourne.?
