Sony is set leverage its coverage of the World Cup to launch an official 2010 FIFA World Cup Film in 3D worldwide.?

The 64-minute documentary showcases highlights, colours and pageantry of the tournament won by Spain in host country South Africa.??

For the first time selected games at the World Cup were broadcast in 3D, including the opening match between Mexico and South Africa.??

The documentary hopes to capture the party atmosphere that surrounded the tournament with interviews and clips of fans.

During the tournament Sony had set up special 3D centres around South Africa to demonstrate its 3D televisions.
