Spar Promotes Athletics Tie-up

Spar has pushed its sponsorship of the European Athletics Championships by releasing an online game called ‘Beat Barni’.
In-store promotional activity will be supported by press, magazine, radio, Spotify and adverts on the official Spar website.
The online athletics game challenges players to beat Barni, the official mascot for this summer’s athletics championships, at a number of events including a 100m sprint, a 400m hurdle race, javelin throw, pole vault and long jump.
The European Athletics Championships takes place from 26th July to 1st August in Barcelona.
Spar has been a partner of European Athletics since 1996 and a sponsor of UK Athletics since 2004.
