The inaugural Sport Industry NextGen: A Celebration, in partnership with Barclays, taking place on Wednesday 27th January, will see Q&As and discussion from the likes of Williams Martini Racing deputy team principal Claire Williams; founder and CEO of Entrepreneur First, Matt Clifford; Women’s Rugby World Cup winner, Maggie Alphonsi; writer, communicator and strategist Alastair Campbell and more.

Claire Williams, Deputy Team Principal of Williams Martini Racing, said: “Sport Industry NextGen promises to be an exciting opportunity to share best practice and industry knowledge with a group of rising stars from a range of backgrounds. Host for the evening, leadership expert Rene Carayol, will lead the audience through talks and interviews that will educate, inspire and celebrate the best of leadership from both inside and outside the sport industry.

The event, taking place at Village Underground, Shoreditch on Wednesday 27th January, will see the 28 Sport Industry NextGen Leaders – selected from a wide range of organisations including AELTC, Arsenal FC, British Gas, Comic Relief, CSM, ESPN, Liverpool FC, Sky Sports, UK Sport and more – recognised in front of their CEOs, industry peers and more in what is set to be a packed house.

The unique occasion designed to help rising talent in the industry learn and network alongside the sector’s senior leaders will begin with an opening address from Rene Carayol before the 28 Sport Industry NextGen Leaders take to the stage.

Further speakers will be announced imminently and they will join the esteemed Judging Panel – including the likes of the CEO of London 2012, Sir Keith Mills; One Young World co-founder, Kate Robertson; head of global sponsorships & partnerships, Barclays, Nathan Homer and consultant, writer and film-maker Leon Mann – who will also be on hand to share their views on leadership and explain the secrets to their success.
