Speed Communications has expanded its senior team with the hire of Belinda Moore as the new director of sport.
According to the agency, Belinda’s role will be focussed on the development and growth of the sport division – currently including clients such as Lucozade Sport, Maxinutrition and adidas – and will be working closely with managing partner Kate Bosomworth, who heads up the sport and media division.
Belinda joins Speed from Fast Track where she was project director for Jaguar Land Rover’s sponsorship of the inaugural Invictus Games and led the HSBC team through the victorious Lions campaign, alongside the rest of the brands portfolio including Wimbledon.
Previous to that, Belinda was a series producer at BBC Sport before moving to work with Sir Clive Woodward at Team GB in the run up to and during London 2012 – heading up a number of key projects including P&G’s ‘nearest & dearest’ programme and the First Games Home Games multimedia project.
Belinda commented: “I am delighted to be joining Speed at such an exciting time for the agency. I’m hugely looking forward to working with their great roster of current clients alongside helping to grow and further develop the sport side of the business.”
