Spirit of Soccer, which uses football to empower and educate young people about the dangers of landmines, has unveiled a revamped brand identity – including a new website and logo – as the organisation continues to break new ground in conflict and post-conflict regions across the globe.
In a year that will see Spirit of Soccer launch a new programme in Colombia as well as the expansion of existing projects in south east Asia and the Middle East, the new website will track the newest developments of the 20-year old charity but also provide information on impact.
A new logo and brand identity marks a key milestone in Spirit of Soccer’s development and growth and reflecting the organization’s threefold mission: “Education, empowerment, saving lives”.
The goal of the organisation’s rebrand is to help raise awareness of the dangers facing children in conflict zones around the world.
Every day, 11 children are killed by landmines and unexploded bombs from past and current wars.
Scott Lee, founder and director of Spirit of Soccer, said: “There are still 110 million landmines hidden around the world and we remain committed to bringing our unique program to anywhere these deadly weapons threaten the lives of innocent children”.
“The launch of Spirit of Soccer’s new website and logo will help us drive awareness about the dangers of landmines and weapons of war whilst we continue to engage and inspire the next generation around the world in a fun and inclusive environment.”
