Sport Collective and GV6 have combined to launch a new global sports marketing agency, Six Sport.

In a statement, the combined entity said that Six Sport’s proposition is to deliver 360-degree business growth for sports rights-holders and brands under a single vision.

Six Sport aims to create and execute growth strategies for both brands and rights holders across the globe, with specialist knowledge and expertise in emerging sectors and trends.

The two agencies have been working together since October 2020, operating as Sport Collective GV6 during that period. Six Sport’s Founding Partners are Sport Collective Co-Founders Sean McAuliffe (pictured left) and Peter Daire (pictured middle), and GV6 Chief Executive Steve Maddren (pictured right).

The Founding Partners said in a joint statement, “The last year working in collaboration has been a fantastic experience and hugely rewarding.

“Bringing our two agencies together to become one new entity is a natural progression. We have received great feedback from our existing clients on our unique, experience-led, proposition and we know we can genuinely affect revenue and marketing value at scale.”

Sport Collective and GV6 have both worked with major sports bodies and commercial partners.

Since their collaboration began, they have announced projects with the Scottish Professional Football League, the Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN Formula 1 team and cycling’s Tour of Britain, among others.

Daire and McAuliffe held senior positions at the Football Association before founding Sport Collective in 2014, as Global Head of Sponsorship and Global Head of Business Development respectively. Maddren was a senior executive at the English Football League (EFL) from 2012-16, rising to Head of Commercial Development.
