The Sport Industry Awards 2020, the largest commercial sport awards in the world, will this year be revealed online for the first time ever – following the original postponement of the event due to COVID-19.
Going live on Thursday 3rd September at 10.00am, a brand-new digital hub will house the victory announcements for all 18 categories at the Sport Industry Awards, in a break from tradition for the first time in 19 years. The enforced change will still see the Awards handed out with new virtual reveals to be launched throughout the day.
The website itself, meanwhile, will also become a new one-stop shop for all things Sport Industry Awards 2020, and will provide the template for a new ‘virtual’ home of the Awards long into the future, containing information about all shortlisted entrants, their fantastic work and giving credit to all involved.
Further details of the online announcement will be revealed soon for all those eager to find out who won the industry’s most renowned trophies.

Sport Industry Awards 2021
In 2021, the Sport Industry Awards will be celebrating its 20th anniversary, a period that has seen some of the most incredible sporting moments in our history. Sport has, however, been hit harder than most by the current pandemic and ensuing lockdown, and 2020 will undoubtedly be a challenging year for many.
With all of this in mind, and with the resurgence of our industry front centre, we’re proud to be launching a refreshed Sport Industry Awards in 2021. The ultimate 20-year celebration of our sport industry – the Sport Industry Awards 2021 will be a vibrant and inclusive celebration. As we return to mass gatherings, there will be new categories designed to honour the best work of the last 20 years and of today, as well as the thankless heroes who have guided us through tough times in 2020, and together we will look ahead to a rejuvenated industry and all the opportunities in front of us.
