Manchester United and Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay has been revealed as a contact lens brand ambassador for Specsavers.

In statement on its website, the brand said, ‘Scott is a genuine contact lens wearer and is very passionate about how wearing contact lenses has been a “game changer” and enhanced his career as a professional footballer.’
As per the agreement, the 27-year-old will feature in a campaign showcasing his personal experiences in wearing contact lenses as a child at school.
The UK-based optical company is a long-standing partner of the Scottish FA, having first partnered with the organisation in 2002.
Ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 football season, EFL Championship club Burnley has signed a new partnership with Ticketmaster.
The partnership will focus on improved mobile ticketing, easier ticket purchasing, and elevated customer service.
Burnley Head of Ticketing, Chris Parkinson, said, “The partnership is aimed at enhancing the ticketing experience for Burnley FC fans while providing a more streamlined and efficient process for purchasing tickets to matches and events.”

Last season, Burnley were relegated from the Premier League after finishing 19th in the 2023/24 campaign.
Pure Padel Manchester, a new indoor, six-court padel centre located in Manchester’s city centre, will open this August.

Following its first season as principal partners of Arsenal FC, Sobha Realty hosted a ‘Play Like A Pro’ experience for a number of brand VIPs, UK content creators and Arsenal supporting legends.
Music engineer, Fumez The Engineer, content creators EmanSV2 and Andrew Henderson, as well as TV star Tyrique Hyde were amongst those in attendance, where guests were given the opportunity to arrive on the team bus, before playing on the hallowed Emirates turf, coached by Arsenal royalty; Tony Adams and Gilberto Silva.
The experience, which was delivered in partnership with global marketing management agency Blueprintx, rolled in to a second day at the Sobha Realty Training Centre, previously known as Arsenal Training Ground, in London Colney, which saw players being given a nutritious breakfast to aid recovery, followed by a guided tour with Arsenal legend, Ray Parlour, who regaled tales of his years at Arsenal, and showed off the facilities to the guests.
