The Sport Industry Group is proud to announce that Sepp Blatter will be the
subject of the 2007 Sport Industry Interview – the first such dialogue of its
kind that the FIFA president has undertaken in the UK.

The 2007 Sport Industry Interview, in association with Wiggin LLP, will take
place on Wednesday 28th February at the Bloomberg Studios in Central London.

In front of a select, invite-only audience of 200 leading practitioners from
the UK sport industry, the FIFA president will engage in an in-depth interview
conducted by BBC presenter John Inverdale.

The high-powered audience on the evening will comprise of all of the leading
industry figures from football and the wider sporting world including top-level
representatives of governing bodies, federations, sponsors and agencies.

Inarguably the most powerful man in world sport, Blatter’s reign as head of
football’s global governing body since 1998 has witnessed the growth of the
beautiful game into the commercial colossus it has become, reaching all four
corners of the globe.

Having overseen two World Cups and dealt with countless issues on and off the
pitch during an eight-year tenure as FIFA president, the exploration of
Blatter’s past experiences and his views on the current scenario facing the
governance of football represents an incomparable opportunity for those
responsible for taking UK sport forward.

The naming of Sepp Blatter as the second leading personality to take part in
the annual Sport Industry Interview follows on from the event’s highly
successful launch in 2006 where Mayor of London Ken Livingstone gave his
forthright opinions on the 2012 Olympics to a packed room of the hierarchy of UK
sport.
