Sport Industry Nextgen Leaders Announced
Sport Industry NextGen in partnership with Barclays has selected a group of 28 professionals, representing companies including the BBC, British Athletics, Liverpool Football Club and Sky as Sport Industry NextGen Leaders.

Selected following a challenging steering process, all 28 will receive the Sport Industry NextGen Leadership Package, providing key support to better equip them for future leadership roles. This includes multiple networking opportunities; commercial training from Barclays; learning from Institute of Sport Business, Loughborough University London; a 24 hour leadership experience from the Inspirational Development Group at Sandhurst; a membership to the Inspired Leaders Network plus personal development and mentoring from the Sport Industry NextGen Judges throughout the year.
They will also go through to an educational and training day on Wednesday 27th January to be assessed further by the Sport Industry NextGen Judges via a series of group tasks, individual challenges and interviews. On the same evening Sport Industry NextGen in partnership with Barclays: A Celebration, will bring together these rising stars of the industry, along with their peers, senior business leaders and influencers for a night of networking, education, inspirational talks and socialising at Village Underground, Shoreditch. During the Celebration, the Judges will announce five Leaders who are worthy of ‘Honours’ following judging earlier in the day. These five will receive an invitation for them and a guest to the BT Sport Industry Awards 2016.
