Sportradar, provider of sports data services, has launched radar360 – a hyper-potent data research application that will be available to all 32 NFL teams as well as NFL.com writers and NFL Network staff.

radar360 is a web-based application built by Sportradar’s in-house development team. The introduction of radar360 is a continuation of the data partnership between the NFL and Sportradar that commenced in April 2015.

radar360 allows users the ability to create, modify and save custom reports; flexible sorting and filtering capabilities; pre-created ‘radar360 reports’ for detailed situation analysis; quick reference views of essential information via player and team ‘cards’; a global search that instantly allows users to locate any player, team or report; and custom views that allow users to choose the stats they want and isolate players and teams from different eras for a direct comparison.

Coaches and scouts can take the information and analyse it for different trends across game situations. On the media side, public relations teams can use the data to support game notes, match reports and media guides while those in production can incorporate data sets into studio programming or use them on on-air segments.

“radar360 is a valuable resource for every NFL team’s media relations, football operations, coaching, and scouting groups as well as our League production teams. This innovative tool allows users to access NFL data through an intuitive interface and easily customizable queries,” said Vishal Shah, SVP of Media Strategy and Business Development at the NFL.

“In radar360 the NFL has a resource to dive deep into both in-game and historical data sets. Users can leverage expansive filtering and grouping functionality to create customized data views to analyze different scenarios and situations,” said Dave Abbott, Head of Products and Development at Sportradar. “This is the first release of many. Our dev team is poised to introduce an innovative suite of products that unlock the power of NFL data for the 2016 season.”

Sportradar will be introducing radar360 commercially this year.
