Sportradar and MLB have entered a multi-year agreement that will see the sports technology giant offer performance analysis of amateur baseball prospects.
Through the expanded partnership, the league and its 30 clubs will have access to player analysis and insights via Sportradar’s Synergy Coaching and Scouting technology.
Sportradar will expand its event coverage from 3,300 to more than 20,000 games across college, international, partner leagues, and amateur leagues, marking an increase of more than 600%.

This includes high school events for the first time, as well as the MLB Draft League, the Appalachian League, and MLB Develops events.
Sportradar’s Synergy Coaching and Scouting product uses the tech firm’s expertise in converting millions of data points from videos into detailed metrics, insights, and visualisations.
The company’s AI-powered sports performance technology also helps provide detailed analysis during games, offering scouting information to MLB clubs looking to evaluate prospects.
St Gallen-based Sportradar has an expansive sports partnership stable that includes US major sports leagues the NBA and NHL, as well as the ATP Tour, the Bundesliga, Serie A, NASCAR, and the AFL.
