Sports data and technology specialist Sportradar has entered a multi-year partnership with tennis and pickleball ratings platform UTR Sports.
The deal kicks in from January 2025, and will see Sportradar gather data from more than 20,000 Pro Tennis Tour matches per year.
Sportradar will have access to data and audiovisual streaming content from the tour, and will use its artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision technologies to generate analysis and insights from all matches.
The St. Gallen-based firm will also offer its Universal Fraud Detection System to prevent match-fixing and corruption.
Moritz Gloeckler, EVP of Rights and Strategic Projects at Sportradar, said, “We are thrilled to partner with UTR given that tennis boasts one of the largest and dedicated global fan bases and is among the most widely bet on sports worldwide.
“As we do with all our partnerships, we have selectively added UTR to our portfolio of rights that we believe will provide Sportradar with enhanced commercialization upside and opportunities for further growth.”
