The Sports Sphere Group has teamed up with LCOR Communications to form The PR Sphere, a new PR company working across the sport, fitness and health industries.
As part of the new agreement, LCOR’s Louisa O’Riordan will be heading up The PR Sphere as PR director, bringing her experience of leading teams, individuals and brands across sport, which saw the agency collect the Best Management of a Sportsperson Award at the BT Sport Industry Awards 2015.
Joining the PR Sphere’s client roster are The Centre for Health & Human Performance (CHHP), The Foundry (pictured above) and industry experts Professor Greg Whyte OBE and James Crossley (fitness guru and previously Hunter from Gladiators, pictured below).

The PR Sphere will also work with existing Sports Sphere clients who include household names such as Max Whitlock, Ed Clancy, Beth Tweddle, Lizzy Yarnold and Jonnie Peacock.
James Harper, group managing director, said: “This is an exciting chapter for the Sports Sphere Group. There are natural synergies between LCOR and ourselves that prompted the partnership to form the PR Sphere; between us our network in sport, business and across the media is strong. Both Louisa and I share a vision that insight and defined messaging creates news and can drive and change agendas. We will pride ourselves on our network and aim to become a destination for influencers, news desks and journalists.”

Louisa O’Riordan, PR Sphere’s new PR director added: “This is an opportunity to grow a company that is not only great at delivering results, but that operates in line with its core values.
“We know we have the expertise and experience to deliver, but the team are hungry too and that energy and willingness to go that extra mile, is the thing that really excited me about collaborating in this way. James and his team, as we do at LCOR, truly takes to heart the success of its clients, everything is a partnership and we all share in each other’s ambitions to succeed.”
