Save the Children has launched a new advert featuring sports stars including David Beckham, Usain Bolt and Muhammed Ali.
The campaign called ‘No Child Born to Die’ is backed by a multimedia launch in the hope to raise awareness of the charity’s aim to stop millions of children dying.
The activity launches with a new TV advert and a new ‘No Child Born to Die’ microsite.
The campaign is also backed by a range of celebrities, including Alexandra Burke, Helena Bonham Carter, Simon Cowell and Natasha Kaplinsky.
The advertising was created by Adam & Eve; the agency’s first work since being appointed to handle the account.
Filmed in villages supported by Save the Children in Lindi, Tanzania, the advert features a group of young children as they watch a series of projections of some of the world’s most inspirational people including David Beckham, Albert Einstein, Nelson Mandela, Usain Bolt, Muhammad Ali and Darcey Bussell.
