Sportsdirect.com has been announced as the exclusive retailer of the official 2012 Sport Relief T-Shirt, and will produce and sell two variations of the T-shirt for Sport Relief – a core T-shirt and a separate fashion focused design.

The core T-shirt is now available for pre-order via the SportsDirect.com website with both T-shirts going on sale in Sportsdirect.com’s 400 stores and online from 19th January.

Customers are able to personalise their Sport Relief T-Shirt for the first time by adding letters and numbers.

The T-Shirts will retail at £8 for the adult t-shirt and £6 for the junior, with £4 of the proceeds of the adult shirt and £2 of the junior shirt going directly to Sport Relief.

Dave Forsey, CEO of Sportsdirect.com, said: ‘We are delighted to be partnering with Sport Relief and look forward to contributing to another phenomenal campaign’.

‘Sport Relief has gone from strength to strength in recent years and we hope that our customers wholeheartedly support the campaign by pre-ordering online or picking up a shirt in-store. 2012 is going to be a massive year for sport, and we are very excited to be partnering with Sport Relief at this time’.

Karl Reynolds, head of fundraising at Sport Relief, added: ‘Sportsdirect.com is a natural partner to sell the 2012 T-Shirt. As the UK’s number one sports retailer, the network of stores provides a great route for us to get our T-Shirt to as many people as possible. Their enthusiasm really impressed us and we’re certain next year’s shirt will be a huge success – both in terms of fundraising and awareness’.
