The first images of the proposed new stadium for Tottenham at White Hart Lane, which will be built alongside the current ground, have been unveiled.
Though details have yet to be finalised, the reconstruction will reportedly include a museum – with exhibits about the club’s history – shops, facilities for the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, and even housing developments.
The capacity for the stadium, to be confirmed next month, is expected to be between 55,000 and 60,000.
Claiming to be a project that will regenerate the Northeast London area around the ground, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has envisioned an ‘iconic’ stadium.
If all goes to plan, Levy has reportedly said the new construction will allow Spurs fans to be closer to the pitch than any other stadium in the UK.
