Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur has announced a multi-year deal with INEOS Grenadier, which will become the club’s official 4×4 vehicle partner.
The Ineos Grenadier is an off-road utility vehicle designed and produced by UK automotive manufacturers Ineos Automotive Ltd. The company was founded by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, billionaire and chairman of the multinational chemicals company Ineos.
Through the partnership, INEOS Grenadier will engage the club’s global fanbase through digital and social content and matchday activations at the club’s 63,000-capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the Grenadier logo visible on the dugout seat headrests.
To kick-off the partnership, INEOS Grenadier will be the presenting partner of Spurs’ exhibition match against OGC Nice at home on Wednesday 21st December. The game serves as a warm-up match ahead of the return of the Premier League on Boxing Day.
Todd Kline, Chief Commercial Officer, Tottenham Hotspur, said, “Our partnership with INEOS Grenadier represents the coming together of an innovative British brand with an iconic London football club – both of whom are committed to pushing boundaries and daring to do things differently, while staying true to authentic values and traditions.
“We should like to thank the team at INEOS Automotive for their vision and commitment to the future success of this partnership.”
INEOS Automotive Chief Executive Officer, Lynn Calder, added, “From the moment the idea for the Grenadier was conceived by our Chairman, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, we have pursued a fresh perspective on 4×4 development and manufacturing.
“The INEOS-wide ethos of employing grit and determination has helped us overcome many challenges as we brought the Grenadier to market, values that reflect the motto and mindset of this great football club.”
Tottenham Hotspur and INEOS first partnered in December 2020, when INEOS Hygienics became the club’s official hand sanitiser supplier at the height of the COVID pandemic.
