Sunset+Vine has been awarded the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) live events production services contract until 2019.

The sports production company’s contract covers eight ICC tournaments over the next three years, beginning with next year’s World Twenty20 event ending with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales.

The company has a history of producing cricket coverage, having worked on Channel 4’s programming and serving as the host broadcaster for the recent ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier 2015 and produces daily highlights shows for Channel 5.

“It’s a real honour and privilege to be awarded this amazing contract,” said Sunset+Vine chairman Jeff Foulser.

“Cricket coverage has been in this company’s DNA since the late 90s when we introduced innovations like Hawk-Eye and the Snickometer to Channel 4’s coverage and we look forward to working closely with the ICC’s broadcast rights holders to deliver exciting and compelling coverage for their viewers around the world.”

The other events included in the deal are the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017, the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018, the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2018, and the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 2018.
