Sunset+Vine has been awarded the production contract for BT Sport’s UK coverage of the UEFA Europa League from next season, and will deliver a mix of host broadcast and supplementary programming for the secondary European club competition.
BT Sport has the exclusive rights to cover all 205 games of next season’s Europa League, after securing the rights to the tournament and the UEFA Champions League from 2015 to 2018.
Since the original production contract with BT began in 2013 with the launch of BT Sport, Sunset+Vine has produced its Barclays Premier League football and Aviva Premiership rugby union coverage, among other events.
Sunset+Vine’s chairman Jeff Foulser said: ‘We are delighted to have been awarded this fantastic production contract by BT Sport to produce its UEFA Europa League requirements.’
‘It comes on the back of a hugely successful first 18 months partnership with the channel which has already seen the scope of our work grow significantly.’
‘We continue to be BT Sport’s primary production partner and we’re very proud to be playing a part in the continuing success of their channels.’
