This season’s Super League has posted the record average weekly attendance in the rugby league top-flight’s history.
The average attendance at the completion of the 27 round regular season of engage Super League XIII is 10,338 per game per week – last season’s average at the end of the season was 10,264 per game per week.
It is the second consecutive year that the League has attracted an average weekly attendance of over 10,000 per game.
An aggregate total of 1,674,809 supporters have passed through the gates at engage Super League stadia this season.
These all-time record attendances have come in the first season that there has been no promotion and relegation.
An increase in interest in the league has been boosted by the introduction of the Magic Weekend which sees a single city host a full weekend of Super League fixtures.
