Unilever-owned deodorant brand Sure Men has struck a deal to become an official partner of the Test Match Grounds ahead of this summer’s Ashes cricket series between England and Australia.
The partnership, brokered by the Essentially Group, will see Sure Men gain a wide range of commercial opportunities at every Test Match Ground throughout the summer including perimeter and tri-vision signage, hover cover branding, sampling and experiential activity, ticketing and hospitality, and washroom and concourse advertising.
In addition to the commercial partnership with the TMGs, Unilever has also signed up Andrew Flintoff as a brand ambassador for Sure Men as well as securing the broadcast sponsorship contract for Sky Sports’ weekly cricket programme Cricket AM.
Sure Men joins an array of other brands to strike sponsorship deals with the TMGs including Marstons, Betfair, Volkswagen, Wolf Blass Wines, BRIT Insurance, adidas and Cockspur.
The Ashes Series starts in the first week of July with the first Test taking place at Sofia Gardens in Cardiff for the first time.
