Surrey CCC Appoints Braben To Drive Sales
Specialist PR consultancy Braben has sealed an agreement with Surrey County Cricket Club to deliver an online and offline PR campaign to drive ticket sales for the 2011 cricket fixtures at The Kia Oval.
Braben will plan and deliver PR activity for the club’s social media channels, including Facebook, to promote Surrey’s fixtures in the Friends Provident t20 tournament, along with the international matches taking place at The Kia Oval this summer.?
Starting 2nd June 2011, SCCC will play eight Friends Provident t20 home matches this year, with seven of them taking place at The Kia Oval.
England’s victorious Ashes stars Kevin Pietersen and Chris Tremlett are expected to feature in the PR campaign, alongside other Surrey players Mark Ramprakash, and the youngest captain in County Cricket, Rory Hamilton-Brown.
In addition, The Kia Oval will host three international fixtures this summer, including the final Test Match in England by Indian batting legend, Sachin Tendulkar.
