Surrey CCC Signs William Hill
Surrey County Cricket Club has announced William Hill as the club’s official betting partner until the end of the 2020 season.
As part of the deal, the partnership will see the betting brand’s logo appear on the back of the club’s Vitality Blast shirts.
William Hill’s brand will also appear across Surrey CCC’s digital and social channels and have a presence around the Kia Oval – with signage in the Bedser Stand.
Surrey CCC commercial director Charlie Hodgson said: “The club are delighted to have agreed a deal with William Hill, one of the most prestigious betting companies in the world.”
Liam McKee, head of sponsorship and retail marketing at William Hill added: “We’re excited with this new partnership with Surrey CCC. It’s our first real venture into cricket sponsorship and we’re excited our first cricket partnership is with one of the most historic sports clubs in the UK.”
County cricket’s T20 competition returns this week with its new name and headline partner – Vitality T20 – with ticket sales at record levels and Finals Day at Edgbaston in September already sold out.
Vitality will be the title sponsors of the Blast for the next four years, replacing NatWest, as a central part of its backing of T20 cricket, including home men’s and women’s England internationals.
