Sussex County Cricket chief executive Dave Brooks says all safety precautions have been taken ahead of their trip to India next week for the Champions League Twenty20.
The inaugural tournament was moved to South Africa last year after the Mumbai bombings in India.
Brooks stated: ‘The tournament itself has put an overlay of security. We have spoken to the Foreign Office and had a briefing from Sussex Police. We’ve listened to the advice and will act accordingly.’
Sussex are looking for a one-day treble this season, having won the Twenty20 Cup and Pro40.
The Sussex Sharks have been drawn in Group B with New South Wales Blue of Australia and South African Diamond Eagles. Those games take place on 11th and 13th October.
