The final Sport Industry Private Dining Club of 2015 took place at Villandry St. James’s this week, with members of the invitation-only club joined by former England cricketer Graeme Swann.
The attacking off-spinner took 255 wickets in 60 tests for England, putting him sixth on the all-time list of English bowlers and since retiring has continued entertaining cricket fans through media appearances.
Following networking drinks and a three course meal at the restaurant, Swann took to the microphone to discuss his career, moving into the media industry following his retirement from the field, and discovering the power that cricket can have in local communities all around the world. He also recalled his experiences touring internationally, his favourite sledges and facing Shane Warne.
The invitation-only members club meets four times a year at some of the best venues in London, providing top level representatives from leading brands, rights holders and agencies across the sport industry with the opportunity to network and socialise in an informal and relaxed setting.
