Swansea City Secures Shirt Sponsors
Championship football club Swansea City has announced that Swansea University will sponsor the front of the team’s away shirt for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
The university will also sponsor the club’s travel, training, academy and Ladies’ teams over the same period.
Additionally, Swansea University will continue to sponsor the West Stand at the 21,088-capacity Swansea.com Stadium, while its branding will continue to feature on on SwansTV Live fixtures streamed to the club’s international and UK supporters.
Swansea City’s head of commercial, Rebecca Edwards-Symmons, said, “We are thrilled that Swansea University will adorn our away kit for the 2022-23 season, after fantastic feedback from our supporters.
“Swansea University is completely aligned with our business, and the long-standing joined up way of working is clear for our community to see.We have an excellent relationship with Swansea University and are looking forward to continuing our partnership.”
On 10th June, local property development company Westacres was revealed as the main sponsor the club’s home shirts.
