talkSPORT has confirmed a new partnership with Selco Builders Warehouse, who will become the first title sponsor of the station’s Predictor game – which gives football fans the chance to win £1 million by correctly predicting the weekend’s Barclays Premier League match scores.

The feature will now be renamed the Selco Predictor with branding both on talkSPORT.com and in all on-air mentions.

Selco will also continue to sponsor the breakfast sports bulletins on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which run every half an hour.

Adam Mills, talkSPORT sales director, said: ‘Predictor is a huge part of talkSPORT and correctly guessing the scores is something that both our listeners and presenters take very seriously! talkSPORT and Selco have worked closely together for a number of years and it’s great news for both companies that they will be title sponsors of both Predictor and our Breakfast sport bulletins. With the Selco Predictor running online but being a key part of our on-air discussion, this is a great example of the kind of fantastic multi-platform sponsorships talkSPORT can offer to brands.’

Chris Cunliffe, managing director at Selco said: ‘We have developed a fantastic partnership with talkSPORT over a number of years, and have enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship.’

‘The predictor game is a great addition to the activity Selco undertake with talkSPORT to increase awareness of the Selco brand and the benefits to tradesman of using Selco.’

Helen Cooper, head of marketing for Selco, added: ‘talkSPORT is an important communication channel within our marketing activity to reach tradesman.  The predictor will further enhance our brand awareness but will also add some fun in branch.  We have installed screens in every branch to give all colleagues and customers access to play.’

The announcement kicks off a busy year for the Barclays Premier League’s Global Audio Partner, who has official broadcaster rights to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the FA Cup, England football internationals and the Capital One Cup, as well as the Barclays Premier League.
