Fitness equipment supplier, Technogym, has been announced as the official national supplier of the IPC World Para Athletics Championships and the IAAF World Championships.
Technogym will equip the athlete training facilities with fitness equipment to training facilities for the athletes both in the build-up and during the championships which take place this summer at the London Stadium. All athletes and their coaching teams will have access to the fully branded equipment.
Technogym has been a supplier to the last six editions of the Olympics Games, including London 2012, the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and was also recently appointed by the Gold Coast for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Niels de Vos, championship director for London 2017, said: “Technogym has an excellent record of supplying high class gym and fitness equipment at major international sporting events so we are delighted to have them on board. First rate facilities are vital to an athlete’s preparation and recovery and we want all athletes in London this summer to be fit and well before, during and after the Championships.
