Tesco Hires Octagon For Football Roadshow

Tesco, the official supermarket of the England football team, has appointed sports marketing agency Octagon to create and manage the brand’s Football Roadshow this summer.


To help celebrate the World Cup, the Roadshow is free to attend and is open to families with children between the ages of 5-11 years.


Staged in a different venue every Saturday in June, the Roadshow will provide a family-orientated interactive footballing experience.


The Roadshow will begin on 5th June at the Bolton Arena before moving to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 12th June, then on to the Emirates Stadium (19th June) and finally the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle (26th June).


The Roadshow is an initiative to help drive awareness and participation of the FA Tesco Skills Programme, which has seen over one and a half million children take part since its launch in 2007.
