Texaco To Sponsor The Football League Championship

Texaco have penned a three-year deal with The Football League to be an official partner of The Football League Championship.


The Chevron-owned company will be one of up to four additional sponsors to title sponsor, Coca-Cola.


Texaco now becomes the ‘Official Motor Fuel Partner of The Football League Championship’, with pitchside advertising at every Football League match, including the season climax play-offs at Wembley and club website promotional space.


Texaco will be able to link these promotions with toher Texaco-branded sites and work in other programmes such as the Star Rewards loyalty card and the children’s road safety campaign, Hector.


Texaco have also become title sponsor of a new Championship Fantasy League, Texaco Fantasy Football, which has been developed by The Football League in conjunction with Fantasy Games Ltd, the original creators of the Fantasy Football League.


The Football League Championship comprises 24 football clubs and has in excess of 10 million spectators, with the a TV audience approaching 100 million.
