The FA Lands Google Pixel As New Partner

Google Pixel has been announced as the official mobile phone and earbuds partner of The Football Association (FA) as part of new, long-term partnership.

Although Google has an existing relationship with the the FA, having been announced as the official cloud of the England Teams in 2019, the new agreement with Google’s consumer electronics brand marks Pixels first step into sponsorship in the UK, and covers both England’s men’s and women’s senior teams.

According to a statement, ‘throughout the partnership, Pixel will use its best-in-class camera and AI-powered technology to give fans fresh perspectives on their favourite players.’

Content creation will sit at the heart of the partnership with new short- and long-form series announced, while Pixel will also collaborate with Lionesses star Lauren James this summer for a new campaign titled ‘Football on Pixel’.
