Thomas Cook Sport has become the latest brand to sign up as an official supporter of England’s bid to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
As part of the deal Thomas Cook Sport will be hosting the bid team’s visit to this summer’s World Cup in South Africa.
England’s bid was presented to FIFA last Friday and in December FIFA’s Executive Committee will select the hosts for the 2018 and the 2022 FIFA World Cups.
Thomas Cook is the latest of a number of firms that have announced their commercial support for the 2018 World Cup bid with Eurostar, Umbro, Morrisons, BT, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and British Airways all signed up as Tier One partners.
