Thomson Sport Signs Englandfans Deal
The official England football team supporters’ club, englandfans, has signed a commercial contract with travel operator Thomson Sport.
The deal will see Thomson Sport become the official overseas travel supplier to England supporters offering a number of tailored packages to follow the team at away matches.
The two-year agreement runs up to and including the World Cup in South Africa in 2010, for which England are currently going through the qualification group stages.
Thomson Sport football travel packages will be promoted directly to members of the supporters club who have requested access to tickets to overseas’ matches including over 23,000 such members.
Fans will have access to a dedicated booking area on the Thomson Sport website giving information on the travel options available.
Thomson Sport travel packages will be available for the next international match taking place in Berlin, Germany during November 2008.
