Threepipe Lands Siemens Rowing Account

Siemens has appointed sports marketing agency Threepipe Sport to handle the PR
for the company’s sponsorship of GB Rowing.

Threepipe Sport will initiate a series of PR campaigns to promote awareness
of the long-term sponsorship which is building towards the London 2012
Olympics.  

Siemens is the high performance partner of GB Rowing, in a deal running
through to 2012 and also sponsors the Amateur Rowing Association’s World Class
Start programme and high performance programmes in clubs. 

Threepipe will be working with Siemens to deliver campaigns to bring the
sponsorship to life, reaching business audiences to reinforce Siemens’
positioning as an innovative company and highlight how the company is working
with GB Rowing to help enhance performance through innovation.

Part of the campaign will also focus on using the sponsorship to get young
people excited about science and technology as a career choice.
