British rapper and music producer, Tinie Tempah has teamed up with LifeSkills created with Barclays to front a work experience of a lifetime campaign.
Tinie is launching the initiative which sees sport and entertainment brands open their doors, allowing young people the chance to gain work experience and get themselves on the road to securing a job in their desired industry.
Now in its second year, Tinie will also be offering one lucky person the opportunity to take part in work experience at his east London creative hub Disturbing London, where they can shadow Tinie’s team and be mentored by the man himself.
There are also opportunities with gaming at Football Manager and a range of other placements on offer at the likes of The O2, Shazam, Premier League, Manchester City FC, Tottenham Hotspur and British Athletics.
Tinie Tempah said: “I’m really pleased to be working again with LifeSkills to offer young people the chance to secure the ultimate work experience opportunity at one of their favourite sports and entertainment brands.
“Confidence, dedication and a passion for what you want to do, are key if you want to work in your dream job and do what you love for a living. That’s why we’re going to also throw open the doors of my business Disturbing London and invite someone who thinks they have what it takes to work in the entertainment business.
“I have so many projects coming up this year that I can’t wait to see what someone can bring to the table.”
UK 18-24 year olds interested in securing work experience simply have to search ‘Barclays LifeSkills’ online to apply. The initiative launched on Tuesday 25th October and will close on Sunday 4th December.
