In a new multi-year agreement, watch brand Tissot has signed up as the official timekeeper and sponsor of the Superbike World Championship.
Tissot will benefit from a strong presence at all events in the series, involving 13 rounds in 10 countries this year.
In addition, Tissot will present the Superpole, the Saturday afternoon qualifying session that establishes the starting position of the riders in the main races of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) series.
Infront Sports & Media, which organises and promotes the Championship, brokered the agreement with Tissot.
Other sponsors of this year’s series include Alfa Romeo, Pirelli, Arrow, Axo and ParkinGo.
In 2010, the series was aired in 173 countries, reaching a cumulative audience of 498 million
viewers – a 33% year-on-year increase.
