TNT Sports has joined Women in Football as a corporate member to support gender equality in the sports media industry.

Through the membership, the broadcaster will receive services including consultancy, workplace culture auditing, and places for female staff on the Women in Football Leadership Course.

The agreement follows TNT Sports’ previous involvement with WIF earlier in 2025, when it took part in a broadcaster group convened to address online abuse directed at women in sports media.

Women in Football is a UK-based professional network with nearly 12,000 members, working to promote gender equality across the sport.

TNT Sports provides coverage to audiences in the UK and Ireland, including the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, Premiership men’s and women’s rugby, cricket, UFC, Australian Open and Roland-Garros tennis, Grand Tour cycling, and the Olympic Games. It has become the third major media organisation to join WIF’s Corporate Membership programme, alongside Sky Sports and News UK.

Women in Football CEO Yvonne Harrison said, “TNT Sports is playing a key role in making sure talented women receive the opportunities they deserve in the broadcasting industry. Joining Women in Football as a corporate member means we can work closely together to build on that good work and help to make sports media a truly gender-equal environment.

“I’m a big fan of their coverage and presenters, so it’s fantastic to welcome TNT Sports into the Women in Football family.”

Scott Young, EVP WBD Sports Europe, said, “We at TNT Sports have valued working with WIF and its member organisations over the last year to fight online abuse targeted at women in media. Collaboration is key across the industry to tackle the challenges that still exist for women working in football.

“Joining Women in Football supports our mission to celebrate and raise awareness of the fantastic opportunities that exist in football for all.”
