Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is interested in investing in The Hundred franchise London Spirit, according to Sky News.
The report says that the US businessman has joined a bid led by UK entrepreneur Jonathan Goldstein, who is eyeing a stake in the club, which clinched the Women’s Hundred title last summer.
The move would see Boehly expand his UK sports portfolio, after the 51-year-old led a consortium that bought Chelsea for £4.25bn in 2022.

Boehly is also a co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who recently celebrated their fourth World Series win since his arrival in 2013.
Earlier this year, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed plans to allow private investment in The Hundred’s eight clubs ahead of the 2025 season, selling stakes of up to 49% in order to help expand the 100-ball domestic cricket competition.
According to Sky, around 35 bids have been shortlisted for the teams, after the ECB initiated the process for securing investment in September.
The London Spirit, who play at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground, are reportedly generating the most interest.
Meanwhile, Ares Management, which invested $500m (£384.9m) into Chelsea last year, and US private equity firm CVC Capital Partners are both believed to be eyeing investment in the Oval Invincibles.
The auction process is being overseen by the Raine Group, with the franchises reportedly valued at more than £600m.
