World champion diver Tom Daley will share his experiences of growing up as a focus for the sport industry, while battling for medal success, at Sport Industry NextGen Unlocked on 1st February 2018.
One of the world’s most recognised athletes for Team GB and beyond, Tom has grown up in the spotlight, learning to lead from an early age, having first made a name for himself after winning gold at the 2008 European Championships as a 13-year old.
Now 23, Tom has tasted Olympic success at both London 2012 and Rio 2016, and continues to balance his medal victories with wider interests. The three-time world champion has also dedicated time helping to create ITV’s celebrity diving show, Splash; working closely with long-term sponsor adidas; engaging young fans via social – with over 2.6 million followers on both Twitter and Facebook, as well as 1.9 million Instagram followers – and also releasing a recipe book last year, Tom’s Daily Plan.
