WSL team Tottenham Hotspur Women have signed a new global content partnership with UK-based media company DAZN.

Through the agreement, DAZN will add a dedicated Spurs rail to its women’s football content offering, providing behind-the-scenes content, player interviews, and match previews.

The WSL club and media giant will additionally collaborate on marketing and brand partnership initiatives.

Earlier this year, DAZN opted to remove the paywall behind its women’s football content, as part of a plan to drive exposure for the women’s game.

Through this ‘New Deal for Women’s Football’ initiative, the streaming platform now offers access to live and on-demand women’s football matches free of charge.

The subscription service has an expansive portfolio of women’s football rights that includes Italian top-flight the Serie A Femminile, France’s D1 Arkema, Germany’s Frauen Bundesliga, and the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Last August, DAZN acquired women’s football streaming platform Ata Football, in a move which further bolstered its women’s football offering.

“Partnering with Tottenham Hotspur Women is an exciting opportunity to bring fans closer to the action,” said Esmeralda Negron, CEO of Women’s Sport at DAZN.

“By aggregating Club content in one place and collaborating with Spurs to offer fans exclusive benefits and experiences, we are creating a platform that not only enhances the fan experience but also offers new opportunities for sponsor engagement, driving mutual growth and success.”
