Transfermate Global Payments Backs Best Use Of Analytics, Data Or Research Award
Cross-border payment solutions provider TransferMate Global Payments has partnered with Sport Industry Group, organisers of the BT Sport Industry Awards, to celebrate the very best of examples of organisations utilising analytics, data or research to improve business performance. The agreement will see TransferMate operate as Global Payments Partner of the BT Sport Industry Awards, processing all foreign currency transactions on behalf of Sport Industry Group.
The Best Use of Analytics, Data or Research Award in association with TransferMate Global Payments was created for the BT Sport Industry Awards to recognise and celebrate the agencies, brands, broadcasters, rights holders and venues that are embracing new and effective ways to meet their objectives.
This year’s shortlist features the likes of Aston Villa FC’s #MyVillaMoments; Derbyshire CCC’s record off-field growth; Diageo’s use of data to help assist Johnnie Walker’s F1 sponsorship activation; ICC Women’s World Cup Organising Committee setting new benchmarks for women’s sport; Infosys’ reinvention of the tennis experience; and NTT DATA’s partnership with The Open Championship.
TransferMate currently has more than 10,000 corporate clients in over 145 countries with a growing number of end-users using its platform for international payables and receivables, processing over $10bn in transfers to date.

The BT Sport Industry Awards are the largest commercial sports awards in the world, taking place at Battersea Evolution in London, on Thursday 26th April 2018.
Bringing together sports stars, celebrities, senior decision makers, influencers and global media, the industry’s most anticipated night of the year celebrates the very best work from across the sector. The famous trophies are awarded on-stage in front of a sell-out crowd of 1,700 guests at the star-studded event, held annually in London.
