Sport and entertainment agency brandrapport has been re-appointed by The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials following a successful first year.
The association will see brandrapport continue to build awareness of the equestrian competition and boost value for sponsors by developing and implementing an integrated multi-platform communications plan.
The event is described as one of the most challenging CCI 4 star eventing competitions in the world.
brandrapport will also be responsible for managing the media operations at this year’s event, taking place in September 2015.
The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials has been a major international equestrian and social event in the Autumn sporting calendar for over 50 years and is one of only six CCI 4 star competitions, alongside being one of three events in the Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing.
Liz Inman, event director of The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, said: “brandrapport brought a fresh approach to our communications strategy and we were impressed with their professionalism and the results generated in only their first year. Their handling of press operations over the event was first-class and we look forward to another successful campaign for the year ahead.”
brandrapport’s managing director, Andy Kenny added: “We are delighted to have been re-appointed by The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials as a consequence of the fantastic results that were generated in 2014. We’re looking forward to going one step further in 2015 with some creative new ideas which we are confident will enhance the profile and status of the event.”
