Trivago And Chelsea Launch Partnership With Stamford Beach Stunt

Trivago has announced a new partnership with UEFA Champions League finalists Chelsea which will see the travel brand become the team’s Official Training Wear Partner.

The multi-year partnership will see the brand feature on Chelsea’s training kit across men’s, women’s, and academy teams.

The pair will also launch a new integrated campaign, Let’s Go, which will include a TV commercial as well as ‘curated content’ and once-in-a-lifetime experiences for fans.

Launching the partnership, Trivago turned the club’s Stamford Bridge stadium into ‘Stamford Beach’, hosting a VIP event and turning the pitch into a tropical island decked out with a sandy beach and tiki bar.

Captains Cesar Azpilicueta and Magdalena Eriksson were joined by coaches Emma Hayes and Thomas Tuchel, with the quartet all showcasing the new 2021/22 training kit featuring Trivago.

“With a global platform that is truly best-in-class, we will be proud to wear the trivago name on our Men’s, Women’s and Academy training wear.”

Starting in July, fans around the world will be able to sign up and participate in monthly money-can’t-buy experiences, ranging from opportunities to meet the players, get coaching sessions from Chelsea staff, and access to the exclusive Trivago suite at the stadium.
