Two heads of major international federations have been confirmed for the first Sport Industry Breakfast Club of 2015 with Brian Cookson, President of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), and Brett Gosper, CEO of World Rugby, set to tackle wide-ranging topics and face questions from the industry audience.

The Sport Industry Breakfast Club, the industry’s number one networking event series, kicks off at The BT Centre on Tuesday 17th March.

Cookson and Gosper will address the challenges and the opportunities that face international federations in the modern day. They will discuss the growing need to be consumer-orientated organisations ready to embrace innovation and put trust and integrity high on their agendas.

Both sports are experiencing significant expansion which places them increasingly in the public eye. Cycling is moving forward from well-publicised setbacks, while rugby is looking to capitalise on a record-breaking Rugby World Cup year as well as inclusion in the Summer Olympics.

How can these sports continue their global expansion from grassroots to elite, and what brands and partners can they attract to join them for the journey?

The Sport Industry Breakfast Club will continue throughout 2015, taking place on 10th June, 11th September and 10th November with further speakers to be confirmed soon.

Membership to the annual club – giving you access to all four events in 2015 – is available now for £495+VAT, while one-off tickets are available for £195+VAT. Book your place now.

New for 2015 you can now secure a membership for your organisation so a different member of the team can attend if the registering individual cannot.

Previous events have seen the likes of Adam Silver and David Stern, Ian Ayre, David Collier, Barbara Slater, Mark Cavendish, Sir Clive Woodward and Michael Johnson take to the stage. Click here for some of the highlights.
